The reports in OpenFIT have two main functions.

To give you an overview of the effectiveness of your service.

To support implementation of FIT by auditing whether clinicians are routinely gathering feedback from their clients.

Important note on interpreting data reports.

Please note that the validity and reliability of your data and statistics will depend on whether data is being gathered routinely.

It is important to note that your service are fully implementing FIT before you examine reports. For instance, it is necessary that clinicians are administering measures with the majority of their clients before you start to analyse your data.

For example if clinicians forget to measure an ORS at baseline or forget to get an ORS towards the end of treatment then the change reported in the system will not be an accurate representation of the effectiveness of the service.

See the FIT Manual 4 for further guidance on reporting.
